When I went gluten free 6 years ago, I soon discovered that I also react severely to MSG. It hides in so many places and under so many different names, that for me it is easier to just make things from scratch , than to risk what might be lurking in manufactured and processed foods. One of the foods I make myself is Italian sausage. I was quite surprised how easy it really is to make and I can control the quality of products going into it.
